Jaivardhan Kapoor

PhD student

Jaivardhan Kapoor started his PhD in September 2021 and is co-advised by Christian Baumgartner and Jakob Macke. He is an International Max Planck Research School for Intelligent Systems (IMPRS-IS) scholar. Before joining the University of Tübingen, he received his Bachelors and Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur.

Jai is developing probabilistic generative models and inference techniques for neuroimaging data, with applications in diagnosis and prognosis of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s.
